VitroScan Welcomes Mayor Peter Heijkoop for a Visit

We were honored to welcome Leiden's Mayor Peter Heijkoop to our VitroScan office, as part of his broader tour of the innovative companies at Leiden Bio Science Park. His visit provided an exciting opportunity to showcase our mission, technology, and team.

During the visit, we discussed how our technology could reshape treatment decisions by predicting the effectiveness of drug therapies before a patient even starts treatment. The Mayor participated in a lively discussion about our journey to bring this technology to market and the value it provides for patients and healthcare systems alike.

Mayor Heijkoop was also keen to learn more about the people behind VitroScan. He asked about the educational backgrounds of our team members, as well as their ties to the Leiden region.

Our lab tour offered a hands-on look at our work, including an opportunity for Mayor Heijkoop to examine microscopic samples from a patient with ovarian cancer, alongside our colleague Timothy Sijsenaar.
